Terms of Service
Rules for using the free CVLuma beta and reviewing its AI-generated feedback.
Last updated: October 11, 2026
Private beta draft. Use fictional CVs for testing. Operator disclosures, retention periods and provider arrangements must be finalized before public launch.
Using the service
These terms describe access to CVLuma, a personal project based in France. Read them together with the Privacy Policy before creating an account or uploading a CV. Contact: support@cvluma.com.
Eligibility
The service is intended for adults aged 18 and over in Europe, initially France. You must have the right to submit the information in your CV. If you act for another person or organisation, you must have the necessary authority and permissions.
What the service provides
CVLuma analyses extracted CV text and provides heuristic scores, feedback and wording suggestions. It does not test an employer’s ATS, verify the original document layout, make hiring decisions or guarantee interviews or employment.
The interface, new feedback and account emails support English and French. Changing the interface language does not translate saved reports. Suggested rewrites keep the original excerpt’s language.
Uploads support PDF and DOCX files up to 5 MB and extracted text up to 20,000 characters. Image-only files or documents without enough readable text cannot be analysed.
Accounts
Keep your sign-in credentials confidential and notify us if you suspect unauthorised access. Provide accurate account information. Email/password accounts require email verification; Google sign-in is also available.
Acceptable use
Do not upload content you are not authorised to share, use the service unlawfully, submit deliberately misleading employment information, attempt unauthorised access, or disrupt the service through abusive automation or other means.
Your content
You retain ownership of your content. You authorise the processing needed to provide your requested analysis and saved reports, operate and secure the service. This does not grant permission for unrelated reuse or training of an application-owned model on your CV.
Review AI feedback
AI output can contain errors, omissions or unsupported suggestions. Review every recommendation and keep only facts you can verify. Do not add skills, experience, results or figures that are not true. Scores may vary between analyses and are not hiring probabilities.
Free allowance and pricing
The free beta includes three successful analyses per calendar month in UTC. Failed analyses do not use a scan. A recent duplicate request in the same feedback language may reuse its saved report without another scan. A new analysis in another feedback language uses a scan when successful.
Deleting a report does not restore the scan used to generate it. Paid subscriptions and trials are not currently available. Any future paid offer will require separate pricing and purchase information before you are charged.
Availability and account closure
The beta may be interrupted or changed. Access may be restricted to address abuse, security risks or unlawful use. You can stop using the service and request account deletion at support@cvluma.com. Data handling is described in the Privacy Policy.
Legal protections
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including applicable mandatory consumer protections. AI feedback is informational and requires your review; this does not remove those protections.
Updates and questions
Changes to these terms will be dated on this page. We will provide additional notice where required for material changes. For questions or a dispute about the service, contact support@cvluma.com. These terms do not impose a foreign court or waive mandatory legal protections.
